Fibromyalgia is an increasingly common label applied to patients whose symptoms are clear and whose cause is unknown. Fibromyalgia is less a diagnosis than a term describing the symptoms. The reality is that each of us has a unique genetic makeup which is responsible for our response to toxic exposures, nutrient metabolism, etc. Accordingly, it is our belief that our DNA and the related SNPs are involved in fibromyalgia. As a result, the more we learn about the individual patient, the better we are able to treat them.
